Day 1

Praça do Comercio

The Santa Justa Lift is an elevator in Lisbon and is the fastest way to get from the Baixa neighbourhood to the Bairro Alto district. Curiously, this lift can carry 20 people upwards, but can only take 15 people down. The Lift has a stunning observation deck at the top and offers magnificent views over Baixa.

Rossio Square

Rossio is the liveliest square in the city, where people stop to sit and relax, or for a drink at the several atmospheric cafés with outdoor seating.

São Jorge Castle

São Jorge Castle (Castelo de São Jorge) is one of Lisbon’s most emblematic landmarks. The silhouette of the Castle stands out both by day and when illuminated at night, located on the summit of São Jorge hill, the highest in Lisbon.

Carmo Convent

Rua Agusta

This is a lively pedestrian street with mosaic pavements, outdoor cafés, international shops, and the occasional street artist and peddler. The terrace at the top of the arch can be accessed through an elevator, offering 360º views over downtown.

Day 2

Vasco da Gama and Padrão dos Descobrimentos

This monument is in honour of all Portuguese explorers of the 15th and 16th centuries when Portugal was a global force to be reckoned with.

Belém Tower

One of the most important sights in Lisbon, it represents the story of the Portuguese Age of Discovery.

Jerónimos Monastery

One of the first monuments in Europe to be listed as a World Heritage Site, this monastery was built in the 1500s and is Lisbon's must-see marvel.

Sintra

Head to Rossio Station. Here, you will hop on the 39-minute train to the town of Sintra. Set in the luscious green hills of the Serra de Sintra, this beautiful town boasts a plethora of hidden gems and magnificent sites.

Quinta da Regaleira

Such an intriguing and well-preserved area filled with underground mazes that holds secrets and stories about religious orders.

Pena Palace

The Palace is known for its colourful terraces and decorative battlements that cannot be missed. The interiors of Pena Palace are richly decorated. The amazing views of the surrounding countryside and coast from the terrace of Pena Palace.
